I found what I was looking for in the Pursuit. This is the Elite model which comes with Dura Ace hubs and derailleurs, Paul V-brakes, White crankset, King headset, Vector rims, titanium mid-drive cogs and bolts, and Mueller front fairing. It is priced lower than competition. The builder is committed to improving and racing the bikes he sells, not highly modified versions. Since it is my first 'bent, the handling took some getting used to. It was worth the effort...especially through the turns. This is my third tailbox, and the increase in speed is noticeable over 20 mph. For a no-nonsense, comfortable, fast ride, you owe it to yourself to try a Pursuit. Paul Jones Vacaville, CA |
Deciding
on which bike to buy was a long process (my first recumbent), nearly becoming
an obsession. I wanted to get something low, but not so low it would be
a safety concern. I looked for a bike that stirred my emotions, one that
had a racing pedigree and came with quality components. The designer should
be a person committed to racing and product development. I spent hours
online, combing through newsgroup opinions and test-ride reports.
