Which one? PURSUIT or TIGER?Each style of bike has certain advantages and disadvantages. Here are some thoughts to help you decide which might be better for you.Choosing between the Tiger and the Pursuit. The Pursuit is a superb, long distance machine, both comfortable and energy efficient. The low seat and the long wheelbase combine to help lower the aerodynamic drag. The 48 speed gearing gives the proper ratio to climb any hill or zoom down the other side. The Pursuit comes in 3 sizes, small, medium and large. The low position of the Pursuit means it can be faster than the Tiger due to improved aerodynamics. It also makes it easier for riders under 5'6" to put a foot on the ground. The Tiger's seat is higher. This means you can see more easily in traffic conditions. The Tiger's shorter wheelbase makes it handle more like a conventional bicycle. The Tiger is more compact, so it is easier to transport. The Tiger is a great around town city bike and is lots of fun to ride! The Tiger has a stiff frame and precise steering with excellent tight turn maneuverability. It is smaller than most regular bikes and therefore, easy to transport. As with the Pursuit, the 48 speed gearing gives the proper ratio to climb any hill or zoom down the other side. And call or write if you want more advice! We'd be happy to talk with you about it. |
